Leigh Woods, is a National Nature Reserve and SSSI, on the outskirts Bristol and there are spectacular views over the Avon gorge. The variety of woods, glades and wide sunny paths encourage a richness of wildlife and special plants including Bristol rock cress and Bristol onion.

There are two designated walking trails for you and you furry friend.

 

  • Eastville Park

Eastville Park is a large Victorian park with a range of facilities 2 miles north-east of Bristol city centre. There is lots of woody area perfect for you and your dog!

 

  • Ashton Court estate

Ashton Court Estate is like stepping into countryside only a stone’s throw from the city of Bristol. A short skip over Brunel’s Clifton Suspension bridge and you’re in 850 acres of enchanting wide-open green space and woodland.

 

  • Tyntesfield

There are two circular woodland estate walks for your dogs here. Tyntesfield is a spectacular National Trust Victorian Gothic Revival estate situated near Wraxall, North Somerset and its just a stones throw away from Bristol!

 

  • Conham River Park
