Indigo Road’s next single, “Nirvana” was inspired by the International Bristol ballooning festival.

Indigo Road is a band of musicians and singers founded by Mark Herbert. He is also the writer, guitarist and owner of Big Red Records.

The song, which starts with the lines “you’re stretched on top of the world, an eagle soars in the valley below….” was inspired by the Bristol born creative, being a reluctant participant in the annual Bristol International Ballooning Festival.

He says, “I am not keen on heights but it was one of the most awesome experiences of my life.  I wrote the song the next day.”

Other songs from the forthcoming album “Perfect Moment” were inspired Mark’s time in Bristol.

Feb 26th see the release  of Indigo Road’s third single, “Nirvana”, featuring Belle Erskine on vocals, following the successful Christmas release of “Glory.”

The track will be officially released on 26th February via Big Bed Records and will be available on Spotify and other digital platforms.

It continuous the mood of spiritual hope and is described by the label as “a joyous epic.”
