NATIONAL NEWS ROUNDUP: Over 40s called forward for jab & Portugal and Gibraltar likely to be on safe travel list
All over 40's have been urged to continue to book their first coronavirus jab if they haven't already done so.
It's the third time in the last week that the booking system has been extended. The latest figures suggest over 14 million people across the UK have already been fully vaccinated.
The UK's house prices have surged at the strongest pace since 2004 as lockdown restrictions eased. Prices rose by 2.1% in April as buyers took advantage of the extended tax break.
The 10th May is the date we’re expecting an announcement on when international travel can restart, and there’s a few places we think you should keep your eye on. Portugal, Malta, Finland, Iceland and Gibraltar are the most likely to appear on the government’s ‘green’ safe travel list, requiring two covid tests but no quarantine.
